Going back to normal… somewhat.

Piano – Front Lobby

Given the current tension in our country and worries over national issues and COVID, the ColdWater Inn wants to assure everyone we are doing everything in our power to keep our guests safe and secure through these hard times. We realize that in spite of everything, the world continues to turn and getting up and going to sleep can seem almost tasking at times. That’s why our aim is to keep you comfortable and informed. Our newsletter, The ColdWater Quarterly, highlights local activity changes and input from businesses and local residents. Make sure to email us to add your name to the list. We continue to move forward with our pool and getting our top two floors ready for the crowds to come again! Make sure to take a break in all of the ruckus and stay at our peaceful establishment for a much-needed break!

Pool Set To Open

We plan to open the pool by Memorial Day still, per usual. We hope everyone is staying safe! We are still here for essential needs and are continuing our deep-cleaning regimens and social distancing cues. As we prepare the pool, we hope things begin to lighten up a bit. Regardless, if safety concerns arise, we will update you accordingly and make sure to take immediate action to keep our guests safe. Take care!

Gov. Kay Ivey Issues “Safer-At-Home” Order

Governor Kay Ivey on Tuesday issued a Safer at Home order to be applied Statewide. The order will be effective Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. and will expire on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

This means some restrictions on business have been lifted, but others such as restrictions on in-restaurant dining and hair salons continue to take effect. It is believed while in the best interest of our citizens we should allow some business to start back while still restricting business that requires close contact, and it is believed best to stay away from public areas when possible. For more info on Alabama COVID-19 restrictions and our “safer-at-home” orders, visit our state website or contact us!

COVID-19 Updated

In light of the strange times we are living in, the ColdWater Inn would like to update you on exactly what we are doing to keep you safe and comfortable, while also doing our part to keep business rolling in to the Shoals.

  • Our side and second entrance doors remain locked so we can monitor traffic flow and keep our lobby and bathroom as sanitary and safe as possible. Walk-ins are still welcome, but for a smoother process call ahead.
  • Our dining area is temporarily closed given the orders received to help squash the curve as COVID-19 spreads.
  • We are following a strict and thorough cleaning routine in our rooms and public area to keep our guests safe. Our first floor is open to keep the areas contained and more easily accessible by our housekeeping staff.
  • We are keeping as few employees in the hotel as possible to less your chances of contact with the virus as well as our staff.
  • We are working closely with local food and item delivery services to make sure you have access to everything you need in the comfort of our rooms.

For special requests or further info, feel free to contact us using this website, social media, or give us a call!
